Hi Guys,
I'm as new as they get to hackintosh so be kind. My 2007 MBP is well past its use-by date for HD video editing and AfterEffects compositing so its time for something with more grunt.
The system I want to build is:
CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

GFX Card:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 1GB Overclock

OR
Sapphire Radeon HD6870 1GB [11179-09-41G]

RAM : Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=16848
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST31000524AS

Optical Drive: Samsung SH-222AB SATA DVDRW Drive

Case: Antec Sonata III with 500W

Sorry for the Australian links, it's the only place I could find everything I needed that would ship to me.
From the reading I have been doing over the last week it seems that this system should work fine. The only worry i have is with the GFX card. I would prefer to run the GTX560 as i want to run Premiere CS5 and it is compatible for GPU acceleration, however if it is going to be too problematic (compared to the Radeon) then I'd prefer to just stick to the HD6870.
If anyone can see anything that could be a hurdle for me it'd be great if you could let me know! Thanks heaps
