Just to confirm that adding IntelLucy.kext to my /EFI/OC/Kexts folder and config.plist has enabled the Intel X540-T2 dual 10Gb lan card in my i5-8600/Z390/RX580 Ventura hack.

IntelLucy.kext was created and released by Mieze, here is the link to her Github page for the kext.

The Intel X540-T2 is part of the Intel X500 series of 10Gbit Ethernet x8 PCIe cards. IntelLucy.kext includes support for X520, X540, X550 and 82598 Ethernet adapters. My X540-T2 has 2 x BaseT connectors these work at 10Gbit speed with CAT6a+ Ethernet cables.
I'm not sure if you can use the two ports for an aggregate 20Gbit. There are conflicting reports around about this option, but I expect it wouldn't work in macOS, even if it does in Windows.
I have bought 3 x X540-T2 cards, secondhand from eBay.co.uk. Prices ranged from 2 x £14 & 1 x £30. The Intel cards when new were £200+, so an average of £20/each seems to me to be a good purchase. They are so much less expensive than the Aquantia AQC107 (£45-£50) or AQC113 (£90+) PCIe cards.
There are comparisons of the Intel X540-T2 & AQC107 controllers available on the NET, which show they work at the same speed.
There is nothing unusual about adding this kext to an OC setup, for the Intel 10Gbit card to work in Ventura. I don't expect it to cause any issues in other recent macOS release.
About the only thing that might cause some people an issue is the Intel X540 cards I bought require an x8 PCIe slot, which may result your Graphics card to drop from x16 to x8 speed, as the two slots usually share the 16 PCIe lanes. This is not always the case, as my RX580 is still working at x16.
