Just finished my MacPro 2.1 (2006) case conversion.
It was done with 3d printed parts.
Check the Youtube video.
I have the front panel working (power button, headphones, 2 x USB2) thanks to this forum.
I use the original front cooling fans with voltage control - these are powerful beasts - noisy when cooling is needed and almost silent in normal operation (<500 RPM).
Added also DVD/BR and front USB3/HDMI ports + case display.
The machine is dual boot Win11/Ventura.
Mobo Gigabyte Z390M Gaming, i7-9700, 32GB 3200MHz, RX 580 8G (will be changed soon with a RX 6800), Fenvi T919 (so I stay with Ventura).
