NootedRed — AMD Radeon Graphics — macOS Sonoma

Sonoma 14.4.1 with full acceleration on a 5700U!. I downloaded the full installer through System Settings and upgraded from Ventura, didn't seem to take that long, maybe 45 minutes. I updated the NootedRed.kext and itlwm.kext too. After installing Sonoma, when you reach the login screen and you're flying over the hills and vineyards of Sonoma, that transition from animated to still was perfect. There have been a lot of updates for NootedRed recently and the difference from before bricking it, (about 3 weeks ago!) to now is really noticeable.

I used the latest commit for NootedRed when updating my Gen Machine Ren 7000 system from Sonoma 14.1.2 to 14.4.1. Works really well to date.

I see you have a Ryzen 7 as one of your systems. Does that mean ALL Ryzen 7s can be used to build a Hackintosh or just up to the 5000 CPUs (I rebuilt my previous Kaby Lake system using an all new Ryzen 7800X3D, Gigabyte B650 MB, and DDR5 RAM along with an already on-hand XFX RX 6800 16GB)?

I'm pretty sure including 7000 series, CaseySJ has a 7700X paired with a X670E there's a build guide over AMD OSX. The 7s are my favorite I've hacked 1700, 5700X, 4700G and a 5700U!.

NootedRed supports Vega iGPU, that is: All Ryzen up to (and including) the 5000 series and the 7x30. No 7x20, 7x35, 7x40, 7x45.
Of course you can have a Ryzen 8000 with a dGPU.

An update to NootedRed appeared a few hours ago, the 'Remove Firmware compression' seems to be working fine on my GenMachine with Ventura. Has anyone noticed that 'Issues' has been removed from the NootRed page, or have I been banned from commenting again!?. I also noticed that Airportitlwm was updated, v2.3.0-Alpha, though I haven't tested it yet.

A couple more updates to try, my sig build seems happy with the new kext. There has been some updates to the literature on NootedRed too, a handy check list to look through if things go south and other useful tidbits, I haven't used the AmdTscSync before I'll have to look into that.

Thanks! I'm now rocking Sonoma 14.4 with full acceleration on my 5600G.
How you get full acceleration with iGpu of 5600G on 14.4.
I am also using same specs and same macOS but can't get full acceleration.

Attach your EFI here, remove all SMBIOS info first.
