This is on a Dell Optiplex 780 SFF that I found in the trash. I upgraded to a Q9550S CPU for the sake of better power efficiency.

Signature shows i7 4770K which is Haswell.
Sorry, I meant "Look to your left." I have two Hackintoshes; the score above is for the Skylake build (my newer one). I guess I'll have to update my signature, too, thanks!

[Edit: Updated. There is no option for a 6700, which is what I have, but "6700K" is as close as I could get.]

It is starting to become a bit fiddly to get this setup up and running smoothly with every new release of OS X/macOS by now, so I'm thinking about upgrading to LGA1151 and i7-6770k this fall when Sierra is released. It just hurts a bit giving up two cores.

Did all you guys buy the license? Or did you go with just the 32bit test?

Not too shabby I guess! On my new skylake rig!

On my old Q9550 Rig.

Wow. Really nice results from both systems. Your Skylake build scores similar to many i7s that I've seen.

The Q9550 is also amazing. It outperforms my Q9550S by a lot!

What clock speeds are you running on these two systems?

Hey thanks I try to get my rigs working solid. I benched it dozens of times and it all gets that give or take a few points each time. So its pretty consistent.

The i5 , I have the boost clock set to 4.5ghz and offset of + 1.35v, the ram is clocked at 3200mhz, But in geek bench it only ever boosts to 4.3 so not sure whats going on with that. When i'm using cinebench or gaming or converting videos it hits 4.5ghz solid. I idle around 24C on this rig and at max boost I hit around 52C.

The Q9550 is at 4.0ghz at 1.5v. FSB overclocked to 470mhz on a corsair h80i that I modified the block to fit my Q9550 as It didn't work outta the box due to all the capacitors and stuff around the socket. But it ran at 59C at 100% load and Idled at around 30C. I was able to run 4.7ghz on this rig but then I lost a 1066 mhz stick of ddr2 and could not longer keep the ram stable at those FSB speeds. I couldn't find anymore of that ram to replace it so I just used ddr2 800mhz samsung ram. I think it clocks around 941 overclocked on that stable. Pushing it any farther i'd need to change the ram timings and volts and it has no heat spreaders so I didn't go any farther on that ram.

Wow. The temps you get from your i5 are amazing. I just used the Asus A.I. Suite a few days ago and it got my i7-6700K to 4.7GHz at 1.392v and RAM at 3467MHz. My system idles around 30-32C with these clocks and goes up to 80C under full load. This is with air cooling and ambient temperatures at 27-29C. How did you manage to tell whether or not Geekbench is giving full boost?

Your Q9550 is equally as impressive. Unfortunately for me, my Q9550S sits in a Dell Optiplex 780 that I found in the trash and doesn't have any bios features that allow for overclocking. As you can see from my post above, your Q9550 outperforms my Q9550S by well over 30%. Absolutely amazing. Nice work!!
