I've used parallels and vmware fusion. I have virtualisation enabled in bios but still had that error that it wasnt because my cpu doesnt support that particular version of virtualisation (vt-x?). Nevertheless, windows runs very smoothly in parallels (cant quite remember in vmware ; pretty sure it was smooth). I dont try and run games on it, but aside from that parallels really makes it feel like im running two computers at the same time. I had mac on the output via displayport to my monitor and windows 8.1 running thru parallels on the laptop screen at the weekend and it was awesome

I really want to get handoff/continuity going but im waiting for a cheap(er) fix for this. I wish I could just get a USB bluetooth 4.0 dongle!
