Hello,
If you can help, the i5 4570S processor will arrive tomorrow
That's a good CPU, it has HD Graphics 4600
but today I tried to install Big Sur and when booting
So, you are using some kind of proper CPU ... what model is it ?
You better try Catalina for some tests ( 10.15.x)
I only see the ASROCK image at the screen.
Now or after your new CPU (4570S) will be installed :
1) temporarily install Windows (10/11) and get the USB map of your system, prepare a bootable usb stick
2) read Dortania documentation (read more than twice )
Using only the iGPU of the Haswell CPU you may go up to Monterey using SMBIOS Macmini7,1
Mobo : Asrock h81 pro btc r2.0
GPU : Asus RX 470 4GB DDR5
RAM : Kingston Hyper 8GB
EFI for Asrock h81M
Secure boot disabled and sata is AHCI
Check your motherboard features : LAN, Audio, USB, etc ...
BIOS settings must be "in sync" with the new macOS
Preparing the bootable USB may not be a simple task ...
Anyway read here :

Do not forget : Big Sur is rather dead right now (ok, you may need some old stuff not running on newer systems).
