And now for something completely different… Not a space larch but the engagement rings of two hyper-massive stars:

Over the past 120 years, stellar winds have built concentric circles of dust.

It is a staggering image, and it's amazing that those seventeen rings emanation from the dual stars orbiting each other are roughly a light year across. The chemistry contained in those rings is even more fascinating.

I've been waiting for this image for a long time!, incredibly detailed view of the Pillars of Creation. (Don't open any MS email attachments!).

This Iconic image of the Pillars of Creation was first captured by Hubble in 1995 and updated in 2014. There are no galaxies in this shot, every point of light is a star!.
