In Sundays match up we will see 2 budget gaming lightweights face off as they seek to claim the title ‘Pah, Who needs GPUs anyway!’ of the woooorrrlld!.

Weighing in at $104, (Newegg). Is AMDs Ryzen 5 4600G APU. Released Q3-20 this 45-65 W APU is ready to ‘bring it’ with its 7nm Lithography, 4.2 GHz boost and of course 12 threads.

Specs

Innnnnnnnnnnn the blue Cornah!.

Weighing in at $119, (Newegg). We have Intels slightly weightier, 95W, 4.6 GHz boosted, i5 9600K!. Released Q4-18, this experienced 14nm Lithogratized super heavyweight is ready to burn the planet down to claim the title and laugh in the face of AMD.

Specs

Disclaimer. This is the closet match between AMD and Intel that I own and thought this would be a good comparison. First things first though, Ive managed to lose not one, but two thermal pastes!. So I'm ordering this, a thermal CPU/APU reusable pad.

A quick look at the graphic capabilities between the two rivals is quite revealing, wouldn't you agree John. Absolutely!, the 4600Gs extra frequency could really dump Intel in the dirt here, Intel is going to need all 95 W to keep within reach!.

Interesting back story leading up to this matchup John, Intels i5 9600K has had to shed a lot of weight to get to where we are today!. Aaaabbsolootly Brian!, Gone are the RX 560, the BCM Wi-Fi/BT the tangled cables that came with it!. The team manger even commented to journalists yesterday at the speed of the transformation Brian.

Oh [Beep], would you [Beep] ing believe it!. What happened Brian, They've postponed the Match Up John... Carbonaut, free delivery from Newegg is 10-12 days, and we needed two in the interest of fairness. No drone for you, [Beep] Amazon.

I suppose we should discuss the opposing motherboards Brian while we wait for the arrival of our Carbonaut!. Absolootly John!, Both boards are ASUS Prime, and for team Red we have the A320I-K, ($50 — eBay/$92.99 — list). Full support for Ryzen 5000, DP and HDMI up to 3600MHz RAM, which is an important factor in this build John. Yes!, our Ryzen 5 4600G is actually a 16 GB VRAM GPU in disguise.

Morning Brian... what's this?!, I ordered double caramel swirl, where's the hundreds and thousands?, [Beep] Starbucks!. Morning John, what about the A320s challenger, the H310T?. Ah yes, what a board it's coming out of retirement for this match up, clearly feels it has a point to make. Listed as 'Business Class', an insult imo, there isn't much this bad boy isn't capable of. A true hobbyist board, low profile, HDMI, DP, LVDS aaaaannnndd hidden away under the LVDS is an eDP slot. Not only that the advantage it holds over the A320 is that it's not limited to 77W and its retro green.

LOL, good read and made me laugh.

While we wait for our Carbonaut Brian, the 'other' match up between Chunk and 901 will begin at 12 PM Eastern. I'm looking forward to this John, Chunk is one annoyed looking bear and easily the fattest on the brook. I agree Brian 901 is looking more lean than Chunk and a bit happier too. The locals have started gathering early for this one.

The wait is un-BEAR-able…
