Thank you Leesureone, I was able to rid myself of half of my SSDT's.
Are you willing to share your final EFI folder?
I have a Asus prime z390-a and want to use iGPU
Hopefully your setting will work on my system.
I want to install Ventura.
System working on Catalina, but time to update..

make sure you have done this correctly:

update your bootloader and kexts and then update via System Preferences

ok, I will work myself through the guide.
About the bootloader:
I'm on clover.
I heard open core is recommended for Ventura.
Or do I update my bootloader to OC?

Yes, upgrading to OpenCore is recommended. The learning curve is worth it. But create your USBPorts.kext with Catalina first.

Ok :)
I did create my USB kext ant it works great. I checked with Hackintool and the system IO app.
Only 15 USB ports present.
So I also put this kext into the OC folder "Kexts".
There also is a "USBToolBox.kext" in there. hope that's ok...
But still the system freezes at the apple logo after I start the OC bootloader. I usually check this if the shift lock key still lights up. If it doesn't I guess it's stuck. Also no activity from the Stick. Stick is a usb 2.0
Should I try verbose booting?
I did reset the NVram prior to this.
Should I try to update in Catalina?
How do I use OC then, since I'm on Clover with Catalina?
I'd have to switch bootloaders during the update...

if you created a USBPorts.kext via hackintool, then you will not need the other kext

also boot in verbose if you are unable to boot

Yes, if the Caps Lock fails to light when pressed, you've lost USB.

As @Feartech explains, if you created a USBPorts.kext then disable USBToolbox.kext and any USBMap.kext, or UTBMap etc. If you used that tool, fair enough, but it isn't working.

Upload the Verbose screengrab or ZIP and upload your EFI folder after blanking the serial-number.

ok, I'm sending the zip EFI.
I found no serial in the config. with Clover Configurator.
That might be part of the Problem...
Also, for changing to the Debug (Verbose) version of OC which Files do I need to replace?
BTW: haven't tried with USBToolbox.kext removed yet.

Thanks for the help!!

Okay. I will be back at my PC a bit later and take a look.

To get Verbose with Clover just press the SpaceBar at the drive selection menu and select it from the drop-down.

Regarding oger's config.plst, there are many things I do not understand, but I do think that in config.plist/UEFI/ProtocolOverrides, the Boolean Value of "FirmwareVolume" should be YES.
