HP Pavilion 15 N012TX Hackintosh Compatible or not?

No. Refer to other patches for examples.

I think what you mean to do is something like: WECB(4,256,Arg3)

But you should just use the patch that's already written, unless you're bent on doing it for learning.

I have an HP Pavilion with 4 GB DDR3 RAM, an Intel Core i5 CPU @ 1.6 GHz, 1 TB HDD and a 2 GB NVidia Geforce graphics card. I have tried the UniBeast method to install OS X Mavericks on it, but somehow unable to get past the boot screen (with the apple logo), where the machine restarts. Is this particular model compatible with Hackintosh?

Any help with getting the install going, and post-install tweaks will be very helpful...

hi Anil I followed the guide it helped me to fix many of my issues, however with your ALC282 didn't worked for me.
do you have sound after wake from sleep
and does your CPU is frequency recognised correctly as mine is shown 2.29 GHz

Yes it works for me but I am having some issues with it as battery status is not updating in the menu bar while it is updated in system preferences

Use voodooHDA if ALC282 not working. (In my case it is working without any issue)

These processor are comes with turbo boost technology. Here is specs of mine:-

Clock Speed	1.6 GHz with Turbo Boost Upto 2.6 GHz
Cache	3 MB

is your processor listed correctly under mac

I think it depends on cpu uses

In windows 8.1, it shows 2.3GHZ




and in mavericks it shows 2.29GHz

which is wrong as 4200U has max clock speed of 2.6GHz
can you please attach your DSDT and SSDTs and kexts

I have everything working except battery and sleep , even HDMI external monitor is also stable now . Unable to patch dsdt as pressing F4 or Fn-F4 on Clover boot screen is not generating those dumps. BTW, what does these patch from Step 14 onwards fix ?
